After your track gets recorded in the studio, it needs to be “balanced” so it can sound pleasant to the ears. This is simply the “Mixing” process.
Mixing your song includes:
- Volume Balancing for each instrument/vocal
- EQ
- Compression
- Auto-Tuning the Vocals
- Reverb
- Delay (Echo)
Mixing your song typically takes the longest time in the process, depending on how many channels are being mixed, etc. We use industry-standard Mercury Plug-in’s, as well as Brainworx, Sony Oxford plug-ins and more. Please note that this is NOT the Mastering process, the last process to get your sound to an “industry-standard” level. Artists that already have a song recorded typically go through the mixing process to enhance their sound.
